I got a cold call from someone claiming to be able to get me on the first page of google. One of the things he really pushed was that there is no long term committment and that if you don't get business you will get 2 months free. After 3 months of absolutely no business from their SEO efforts I emailed my account executive that I wanted to cancel the account. At that point I received a call from the account executive as well as another individual - Doug Smith. I told my account executive that I would be willing to keep my account open if I saw results from their efforts but that I wanted to cancel my account. I guess to them that translated into me not wanting to close my account. When I called and emailed to confirm the cancellation I ended up getting a call from Doug Smith... he was very rude and acted like I didn't care about getting business. He was so aggressive that I finally had to hang up on him. He called me right back and was again rude... He said he would cancel the account but that I still owed them for a 30 day notice and that my account would be billed one additional time. I responded via email to him that I had already given my notice and that I expected to NOT be billed again. No response...but today I received notification that my credit card had once again be billed. Save yourself the frustration - do not do business with Outrank. They are a scam...do not do what they say they will and then bill you after you cancel.
