Overstock.com Unable to change size of item ordered 2 minutes after ordering it Internet
I ordered a mattress cover and when I placed the order I did not notice that the word "Twin" was on a small box. Most vendors leave the box blank and you fill in size further along the ordering procedure. I paid using PayPal and when I received confirmation of my order from Overstock.com, minutes later I saw that the size was Twin when I needed Queen.
I called customer service and was told I couldn't change the order to Queen Size. They said I would have to accept delivery then return it and reorder in Queen size. There would be a $4.95 restocking fee and I would have to pay return postage as well.
Beware of this company they are not fair in the way their ordering procedure is set up and from what I can see after visiting Rip-Off Report that Overstock.com really isn't that much cheaper than other stores and has a pretty poor record on returned items to boot.
Think twice about ordering from them.
