This is a horrible company. I understand that sometimes, especially with our medical system, that hospitals need assistance getting payment on co-pays and other medical expenses; however, they should use another company to assist them. 

Every single person answering the phone is rude, nasty, judgmental and extremely unhelpful (not a great strategy to get people to work with you). I understand that their jobs are not the most fulfilling, but customer service at this company is at the lowest level I have ever experienced.  

I had a problem, where I had thought I paid for my co-pays for some medical visits; however, the hospital claimed I didn't. For some odd reason ORD&D, had my address down as a "bad address," despite the fact that I received all my other mail, nor did they call me (and they had my phone number on file). So when I finally fully learned of the situation -- it was "too late to dispute" (which of course was said with totally disgust and nastiness).

I just wanted information and either because of lack of capacity, the person on the other line could not only, not help, but also didn't help with complete attitude.  I do and always pay my bills, but also demand to fully understand what I am paying for. I have had experiences where, for example, a phone company tried to claim I didn't pay, and when I went back to look at the bills and the return checks I had. Had I not been fully aware and ask for more information and double check, I would have lost $200 to a multi-national company.  $200 is two-weeks of groceries and to some it could even be more. 

I, for one, will never go to this hospital again because of the experience. I am lucky that I have a choice, but others do not. So my call is out to hospitals. Please do not use this company. Find a collector that can help your patients understand their expenses and work out payment plans that don't degrade people. If your true mission is a commitment to health -- nothing about this company is healthy. The way the make patients feel is a disgrace and the way their employees must feel (because no one acting that way can feel good about themselves) is also very sad.  These employees have to always feel stressed out and pissed off -- not great for overall health.
