I purchased my modem from "ownyourmodem.com this past March. At the beginning I was not able to activate the unite through Comcast so I asked for a RMA# , however, before I received the number, I to the modem to one of comcast service center where they were not able to input the modem information into their system.  I tried another center and they were able to input the correct information.  The modem work fine for three week at which time I lost my phone and internet service.  Comcast was able to reset the modem once, however within fifteen minutes, the modem went out again and Comcast was not able to reset it.  Comcat was going to send out a service tech., however, I could not wait four day with out phone service, so I picked up on of Comcast modems and started the process with "ownyourmodem.com" to get at least a partial refund, since there was to be some restocking fees.

I asked where do I return the modem.  Instead of giving me an answer and an address, I was made out to be trying to take advantage of them.  It took me almost ten days to receive an address, an address somewhere in San Bernardino, California.  I did not save the address, all I had was the postal tracking number, which indicated that the modem was delivered.

Now "ownyourmodem.com" is asking me for the email that I received with the California address.  I am not in the habit of saving emails.  Once I received the information I needed I deleted the emai, thinking that all was "finally" ok.

I am still waiting to hear from them.  They are now asking when did I receive the email from them.
