I inquired about a hard money loan for an apartment complex in Texas on Loopnet, a commercial property website. I recieved an email from Oxford Street Capital saying they could help. Since we had a complete loan package with open title, survey, appraisal and had time issues, Jon Blackwell, the sr. loan officer said could close in 3 weeks. They had to do site inspection and then were ready to draw docs. He needed the traditional $2k app. fee. I sent and they went to work. Everything was going very very smooth and we were so excited to get to closing table but 2 days before that, he fell off the map.

We have been trying for 3 weeks to get anyone on the phone. Nothing but voice mail. I recently left voice mail that he had till end of day or I would go to the authorities. That didn't work. I called the office complex where the company is located and they verified they did reside there. Wow, I guess if the company had 100 people that gave them $2k each they would make a good bit of dough. I got scammed. I never would have thought it.

Jon Blackwell, you really have the fu**ing nerve to demand anything the way you took my money and disappeared. You go jump in a lake you scam artist. You should have had the balls to answer my calls if you were legit. Obviously you aren't because you would have at least told me something. No you stole and vanished. Shame on you and shame is on you.

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

Hey when they went under I lost my job and now I am two months behind in my mortgage payment as I didn't even get my last paycheck. So you should remove my name as it sounds as if I ripped you off. Now while I am looking for work if someone sees this posting it can hurt my job opportunities. If it does I will come back on the poster. Just use the name of the company and hold the employees harmless.
