This company will delay correspondence, deny legitimate claims, dispute your identity or anything possible to avoid paying. I assume that because it is a life insurance policy that they deal with elderly. Maybe hoping they will give up or miss a deadline? It certainly seems that way. In my husband's case they have delayed corresponce then stamped "2nd request" on the forms. Questioned signatures. Questioned our identity on the telephone. They always insist on everything being done by mail only- with every response delayed over a month! They tried to deny us a duplicate copy of the policy. With this company it takes multiple calls, letters, emails and arguments to conduct EVERY exchange. Do not use them! Background- we had a small policy with this company for approx. 12 years. I lost our original policy and did not realize it had a "disability rider." My husband was diagnosed with ALS and has on SSI disability for over 3 years. He is now on hospice. He is totally paralyzed, on a ventilator and fed by stomach tube. He only travels by ambulance. This company has been delaying, denying and avoiding paying a disability claim (OF $30 PER MONTH!?!?) for over 5 months now. In addition to our social security disability medical info- we have submitted the medical info of his has 2 years of deterioration. It's quite ridiculous! They are not ethical. There are systematic "delays" in getting or submitting information in every department. They constantly "lose" your contact info, etc. AVOID THIS COMPANY. SUE in Arkansas
