Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My wife was in a bad car accident 65 days ago and still no one at pacesetters cares, or will return a call. My wife was rear ended by a Chicago taxi driver who was sited and convicted of failing to yield, too fast for conditions and something else. They waited about 30 days to admit fault. (only after several threating VM left by my attorney)

Now it’s been 35 days or so and they still haven’t made a settlement offer. When you call they put you in a voice mail that is usually overfilled and hangs up on you. You can ask for a supervisor but you will be told that they are on the other line. I don’t get it they have paid $1000's of dollars to store my total car, $1000's of dollars for us to drive a rental car, and are vehicle couldn’t be worth more than $6k. Why pacesetters do you delay and delay and le about calling back.

Ok 1st off, this is not my insurance company this is the at fault drivers insurance company. 2nd my attorney has been hired  for personal injury not personal property loss. So I give him a big thank you for trying to speed up the process FREE of charge. You must have a bigger problem with Americans in general to make such a dull comment on a topic that has nothing to do with you.

Americans as of late have FORGOTTEN how insurance works. I Invite YOU to go get YOUR insurance paperwork. NOT the placard you have to show as proof but the ACTUAL paperwork given to YOU when YOU signed up for insurance. In that document you will see that YOU have purchased a BLOCK of insurance. That block of insurance pays UP TO the amount of insurance YOU have purchased. If its JUST laibility then you get roughly $15,000 PER PERSON to a maximum of roughly $30,000. Now if the taxi company ONLY had liability then they would pay for your rental and to fix your vehicle UP TO $15,000. So there IS a budget and the reason the insurance company will no longer deal with YOU is that YOU have reached the amount THIER CUSTOMER has purchased. The insurance company is under ZERO obligation to pay MORE then thier customer has purchased. When YOU have reached this budgeted limit you THEN have to go after the driver PERSONALLY to make whole whatever was left over AFTER the insurance company has paid thier part. If YOU are expecting that the insurance company is going to spend one dime they dont have to, well its definatly a UNREALISTIC expectation. Im actually surprised your lawyer didnt inform you of this. This is common sense and if I were YOU I would be wondering what exactly your lawyer is doing for what you are paying. Your lawyer and thier assistance are supposed to be the intermediary between YOU and the insurance company.
