Pacific Testing and Inspection Tim Barney, Owner Company Withheld Paycheck Earned Centralia Washington
I recently parted ways with my employment at Pacific Testing and Inspection, when I was offered better pay and more hours with a different company. Tim Barney became angry and proceeded to withhold my last paycheck, and also failed to pay me for vacation hours earned, which according to the company's handbook, is immediately payable upon separation of employment. I ended up taking Tim Barney to court, won a judgment against him, waited the directed 30 days per the judge's order, and Tim Barney has STILL refused to pay. He has not filed anything with the court to appeal this decision; he simply has ignored the court's order to pay me my earned wages and accumulated vacation pay.
I am now being forced to file a new form, requesting this case to be transferred to Superior Court so that I may (now forcibly) collect on the judgment awarded me.
For a company which professes its mission statement to be: Accuracy, Integrity, and Service...the actions of Tim Barney fail to meet what he claims. There is no integrity in what he has done in withholding my pay. There is no integrity in his ignoring a court order to pay. There is no integrity in his forcing me into further legal action, simply because he wishes to throw a tantrum.
I caution people considering doing business with this company, under the direction of Tim Barney. If he is willing to ignore a judicial finding against him and his company, what else might he be willing to blatantly disregard? Please beware.
