Palisade Collections Potentially Fraudelent Item Reported by Palisades on my Experian Credit Report Englewood Cliffs New JerseyPalisade Collection Agency investigation Fox6 news investigative reporter John Mattes exposes Palisade like others exposed on Rip-off Report that sends out collection notices for alleged nonexistent bills threatening to ruin your credit. There appears to be a fraudulent item on my Experian credit report
My last ATT account was for telephone # 973-XXX-XXX - the long distance account was closed and maintained in perfect status from 9/1/00 to 10/1/01 - in fact, I received a refund check from ATT for overpayment in October 2001.
My credit report shows a "Collection Account" from Palisade (ATT Account) for $135 - opened on 1/2002 and currently delinquent - PROBLEM, I didn't have ANY phone service from 10/1/01 until 5/15/02 - I moved out of state during that time and didn't have my own phone line.
Not only would I like this item removed immediately, but I would like to hear from someone at your organization as to the legitimacy of this company - one surf of the web inquiring about Palisades Collection yields results such as - www.ripoffreport.com/Corrupt-Companies/Palisade-Collections/palisade-collections-fraudulen-2F56F.htm - and countless other personal accounts that give apparently fraudent experiences with this company and it's relationship with billing non-, or former ATT customers for money that they do not owe.
As your investigation proceeds, I would like express that I am willing to be a primary or member of a class action suit against Palisades Collections if necessary.
