Palisades Collection ro[pff Erroneous report to Credit Reporting Agencies Englewood Cliffs New Jersey
Palisades Collection Agency claims they purchased two uncollectible accounts in my name from AT&T Wireless. I do not owe AT&T Wireless. Never had a collection attempt from AT&T nor Palisades, but Palisades reported the amount Experian as charge off.
I wrote Palisades and asked for written proof of this debt. Their response was that they purchased the accounts from AT&T Wireless, but had subsequently placed the accounts with Collins Financial Services in Austin, TX and advised me to contact them.
I have written Palisades Collections another letter advising that if they do retract/remove this erroneous credit reporting from any and all credit reporting agencies within 15 days from receipt of my letter, I would sue them. The 15 day time interval just started, but I plan to take legal action against them for this type of collection tactic.
