Palm Beach Jewelers Sold me a ring marked Sterling with platinum plating. Two months later brass is showing through...not sterling! Boca Raton Florida

I bought a ring in size 8, and a couple of weeks later bought the same ring in a size 7. It was advertised as Sterling silver plated in platinum. Two months later I noticed the platinum had worn off and itwas brass underneath...not sterling silver.
I contacted customer service and told them I wanted my money back for both rings because they misrepresented the rings. I was told they had to have been returned in 30 days and I was past that so too bad...no refund. It took 8 weeks to wear through the platinum plating!
