Pam Johnston Apartments The Landlord from Hell (aka Slum Lord from Hell) ithaca, New York

If you are a Cornell University student and you want an apartment with leaking ceilings, cracked walls and outdated electrical wiring (with outlets and wires on the surface of walls instead of behind them, I don't even think that's legal) this might be the place for you. Add a stained and not cleanable bathtub ( gross and rusted shower door) and toilet, rusted medicine cabinet and filthy, stained vanity and you just might have found your dream apartment.
That's just the beginning. The windows were painted shut and could not be opened. The window blinds were either broken and useless or missing, giving no privacy. The student were told they had use the washer/dryer at the apartment next door. The first time my son's roommate used the laundry room, the dryer caught fire. In addition, the students were charged additionally for garbage pick-up even though they needed to go 2 doors down and walk behind that building to dump their trash. Recycling was not available.
Four months rent was required up front, due in May for the following fall semester. At $700 per student per month, the landlord then had the nerve to move a girl into an apartment with two boys halfway through the year. This left my son sleeping in the living room for the entire spring semester. And no, the girl did not know the boys. She was displaced from another Pam Johnson Apartment that had been closed halfway through the semester for "RENOVATIONS".
Don't believe the photos from their website either. I have photos that show otherwise.
