AVON REPRESENTATIVES BEWARE!!!

!!!SCAMMERS TARGETING INDEPENDENT AVON REPRESENTATAIVES!!!

The scammers will either register on your Avon site with only an e-mail address or they will then contact you via the e-mail address you have listed on your Avon site.   They will ask you if you can send them multiple quantities of some of Avons more expensive products after you receive a payment for them for the products.  That is to ensure you that they will "pay" for the items being requested.  They also tell you that you don't have to worry about delivering the products as their "shipper" will be responsible for "coming to your doorstep to collect their items" and mail them to them.

Scammers are trying to get Avon representatives to agree to accept a LARGE sum of  money over and above the cost their order in lieu of their order placement.  When the representative receives their payment in the form of a money order, they are then requested to Western Union the overage back to the scammer.  The Avon representative will then be left responsible for covering a bogus money order that was deposited into their personal bank account plus losing what was refunded to the scammers due to "over payment" on an Avon order.

The resolve...Ask them to go to your Avon site, complete their registration information and place their order their.  They will claim to be a non card holder and if you request to take their order live, they will claim to be deaf.  (that's what my "customer" told me).  They will go away once you continue to ask for their personal contact information or the name and a phone number to their "shipper"
