I am Eric Neuvert and I feel an honest explanation of the things being said here against me, the company, Paradigma the development project known as Ives Kena (located in Costa Rica), are needed here, because rumors are not being portrayed in their correct light.
These negative reports are coming from people who failed to make their promissory payments and
therefore lost their claim to a lot parcel in the Ives Kena development. The very people who have made it very hard to keep a budget and therefore a time line, for this office and in respects to the project itself. In essence, these type of people being the very creators of the same problem that they are complaining about.
There are delays, and this project has been the most frustrating project for all of us involved. One set back after another has affected this viable project. The World Financial Crises hit us very hard. However, I have stuck to our commitments and we are still alive and pushing this project forward, even when around ninety percent of all foreign developments folded and most lost everything, I have stayed here working diligently toward this projects advancements. Advancements that we do achieve, slow up to this point it may be, but we do make continued advancements, even in the face of such a global adversity. Though Costa Rica as a whole did well to fare the World Financial Crises, they did not do well in the real estate sector, it took a hard hit, along with tourism and other sectors of the national market. Tourism was the number one industry, that know has reduced dramatically. These to name a few of the set back, but a large obstacle down here is al of the Red Tape and constant delays from the government, fee changes and the get it done tomorrow attitude of the local Costa Ricans.
I have promised in my commitment to this project, and continue with my promise, to stay down here in this foreign Country, until this project is finished. In fact it should be known that this comes at a huge loss for me, due to the fact that I do not get to see my twin boys play baseball, coach their team, watch them in school plays and the rest of the joys being a parent, a father of twin boys. I lose that honor, by staying here defending these projects. In all honestly, at times it seems easiest to just give up and come home. I love my children and would love to be a part of their lives and interact with them, but I cannot be there for them and stay on top of this projects advancements down here and the people we are forced to rely on, such as the Topographer, Heavy Equipment Operator, Government Institutions, the continued changes in the laws of environment, development and construction, to name a few
I understand the concerns that a few people have, though most have been very understanding. I want all to feel comfortable about their purchase and our efforts toward the completion of this project. For this reason a Trust has been appointed to govern and report to all of the lot buyers (Beneficiaries of the Trust). In this Trust, all land has been placed for the safety of the lot buyers with each lotbuyer named as a Beneficiary.
When the sales reopen for this project, all new sales will be overseen by the Trust as well, until the project is completed according to contract. The four (4) that will govern the Trust are involved in the developments very heavily and represent an independent group of owners(Buyers), that will in turn look out for the best interest of the lot buyers. This allows an oversight of income and expenses, progress and setbacks, and an internal view of the progress for the project. This in turn is reported to the rest of the lot buyers, by the board of four.
So you see, there is no foul play here on mine, or our part, just a lot of obstacles in our way that we continue to push through. I am committed to this project. I only wish the people could see my sacrifices that uphold my commitment to them.
