I would hate to see this become a serious problem. It is very common in alot of dogs and breeds (in fact, seems more common than not in some breeds like bulldogs). Please ask your vet about using ivomec (or another mectin) for treatment, as that is what seems to work the best and fastest in my opinion and many experiences. There are some breeds which can be sensitive, but I am not aware of corso's being one of these, and some breeds with a high tolerance, though I am not sure if they fall in there either. Whether or not you will ever have to go through any treatment ever again remains to be seen. Please consult your vet on this.*just my opinion*
