Paragon construction UnLtd, (tricky), of Pembroke Pines, is a ripoff, and a scammer, and should not be trusted or used. They came to give me an estimate on under screen enclosure work, took a 5000 deposit, promised to submit proper reports, liocenses, and plans for the renovation to the HOA, and the County.
Over the course of weeks, they have not answered calls, or messages or FAXes requesting proper info, etc, and plans that were not sloppy, handwritten, and inaccurate. These calls and messages have been left by myself, and the HOA. They will not appear at the Review meeting, and have disappeared with my 5000!
Be WARY of this company, no address except for a PO box, no email, and rep, Tom Conrad, who sold me this bill of goods in unreachable. I would never recommend them to anyone at this point, and believe I may be taken advantage of!
Barabra Dondero placed this re prot and the next one.
The complaint should be aginst Rick Conrad and Tom Conrad and not Paragon Construction. I have been the qualifier and owner of Paragon Construction for the past 24 years. During that time our reputation for efficient and economical completion of all projects was untarnished. The Conrad brother collected deposits and did not perform work. They used my credentials and company name illegally. Once I was notified, I either returned the individuals money out of my own pocket or performed the work that was promised. The West palm beach complaint sounds like a customer that had me install the shutters at a loss to me and then subsequently hired to paint their home.
At this point DBPR and the local police have been contacted about Rick Conrad and Tom Conrad. DBPR has told me that they have done this with at least one other contractor. The listed issues came about from them illegally using my information. Even though I was not aware of the deception, I satisfied every person that they took advantage of.
