we were a 15year jewellery store tenant given notice to move in 30days by nov 1 2015 busest time in the jewellery business we had to find a location and buid it from scratch thus we had to put everything in storage .showcases and all the customers repair and custom work. customers going crazy wanting to pick uptheir items and needing jewllery for xmas estimated to open by dec 20-2015 inpossible to make up their customer items for xmas. anyway we had 2 signs on the buiding we wanted 15.000 he ground us down to 10.000 and he indicated just send him an invoice which we did nov 11-15 we called him many many times for payment he said finally said we had to be out by dec 1 so we made sure we were so he wouldnt try to charge for dec rent.
big bg job to move safes showcases etcinto storage. the signs as i explained to him were mine personally from a buiness @30 years ago. anyway after we were moved he said there was money owing from when thy bought the hotel.not keeing in mind that the old owner had purchased jewellery to be offset for @2 months rent. now the old owner which now owns the sawmill restuarant in the same hotel wont return calls.so it looks like both conspired to f...k us out of 10.000 dollars ian kennedy boasts on the internet that his company has purchased 1 billon dollars in real estae.and richard gautheir staff serving steaks to packed houses.i guess u wonder what drives these people to have to screw small businesses and the public.well i guess if i had a law degree id know how to.
