Parks College - Everest College ripoff, Massage Therapy Program waste of time and money. Aurora Colorado
I started Parks College in Aug 2004. I attended the Massage Therapy program, well 5 months in they changed the curriculum and I ended up getting taught the same things over again. Top it off, the morning teacher/ director of the program was never teaching what we needed to know. When I switched over to nights, I was taught by another teacher that seemed to have more knowledge, but, still I was learning things I learned in the beginning of the program. They were suppose to give job placement/assistance. Well I didn't hear from them for 2 months after graduating in May of 2005.
It's been a year and after several interviews, and many people not knowing Parks had a massage program. Well they closed down the program, and changed the name of the college. And where am I? Still no Massage Job, because I wasn't taught very well when having to compete with other students from better colleges. And I feel like it was a waste of $10,000.00 and 9 months of school.
I want my money back and get rid of these student loans.
