Pat Haines N.M.E. National Magazine Exhange Ripoff Scam ripoff try to get CC info Clearwater Florida
NME, Pat Haines, sent me an urgent letter! Too bad I read all of the posts before I called. Just curious what they would do and say, she said, OK, we just want to say Thank You for remaining a loyal Credit Card holder, do you still have your Visa card? I said - I don't have a credit card, then she said - oh, OK, how about a debit card with MC or Visa on it. I said - Nope!
Then she got a little nasty withn me and I said - "I've never owned a credit card in my life" trying to see what she would say and she got even more Nasty with me!! She then said - well, if you do "happen" to win the sweepstakes, we'll need a phone number to contact you, then she switched me over to an automated system which said I was eligible for a $1000.00 prize.
DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY!! If you want to call just to see what they say - do the same thing I did, tell them you don't have a credit card, nor have you ever had one!!!! Play their game better than them! Maybe if everyone that they send letters to do this, they'll go out of business! So, pass the word along!!
