I purchased a red Acura TSX at Paul Burns Auto. The price I paid for the vehicle was for it in excellent condition. The sales person Tom told me it was garage kept and no problems. When I brought it home I noticed the car was pink, especially faded paint on the hood, trunk and top of the vehicle. I noticed this in the artificial light. I called the next day and the manager told me that in his opinion the car did not need to be painted. I asked him if I could trade it for the silver one due to the problems with the red paint and he told me no even though the silver one was less money and they would have made more money. He said it needed to be detailed so I brought it to them to be compounded. Paul Burns detailer worked on it and established it was faded paint. I asked for a portion of the paint job and they told me no. The general manager Tom said that they would have their regular guy paint it for a discounted amount. After taking it to several body shops it was determined the car was painted before. If they had painted it before why could they not painted it again at least the trouble spots since the manager told me they send so much business to the shop that they could even do it for free. To make matters worse a week after I bought the car I took it my mechanic because I noticed difficulty steering and there was a huge leak in the power steering rack and the tires were dry rotting. He filled it up and I took it to Acura for an oil change and asked them to look at it. They said it only dropped a little but to keep an eye on it and they would have a regular mechanic look at it. I took it to Pep boys on November 18th and they confirmed it was the rack so now that needs to be replaced. So the car I paid for was barely in drivable condition. I could have had a blow out due to tire wear. Do yourself a favor go to a reputable dealer. And Honda should do something about fixing there lousy paint....Go to acura forum u will see tons of problems.

Lets see...

1.  You noticed the paint was having problems or had blemish areas.

2.  You noticed steering problems.

3.  You noticed a power steering leak.

4.  You noticed tire dry rot.

5.  You quote, "was barely in drivable condition".

The very obvious question which needs to be asked is, "Did you even check this car out BEFORE you bought it?"

Unbelievable!
