All I can say is please run a criminal record on some of the names mentioned in this blog. One of them is a convicted bank robber!!! You are dealing with people that watch a movie like boiler room for motivation. Keep pushing on the state bar so we can see opertions like this shut down. Many of these companies will take clients who recieved positive results out of just dumb luck, and have them make positive comments etc.... The problem is the few dozen happy clients do not absolve them of the hundreds they have hurt. Taking somenone who is losing their home and promising them hope for the price of a retainer fee. Dont believe anything supporting this company.

In reading this rebuttal to my complaint of the theives at Lucas Law Center, it sounds very much like a voicemail message I received from Paul Lucas, same wording, etc. I stand by my statement, they are all scumbag theives and they will not return my confidential financial documents, nor my $2,500.00. Interestingly, when I contacted the District Attorney and the FBI, they knew about his operation and some of his employees and are in the process of investigating them. I ask you why would the FBI and the District Attorney waste their time if there wasn't something to the complaints? Anyone looking into using this law firm, do your homework and check him out with the California State Bar and ask how many complaints he has pending, I know at least mine is pending, maybe more.

The Loan Modification process is changing literally daily, and it is natural to suspect that you are the victim of a scam when nothing is resolved after a period of time. This was my suspicion too with Lucas Law, but they proved me wrong. After 60 days had elapsed, and after reading all the frightening rip-off reports on this website, I finally spoke to the bank directly and I discovered that Lucas' team had indeed filed paperwork, letters and were working hard on my behalf. The reality is that results may take longer than you would like, and the folks at Lucas Law are very busy and may not give you daily progress reports, but rest assured that THEY ARE NOT CROOKS and they are indeed very competent. My case was filed and is now at the tail end of the negotiations with WAMU and I thank Lucas Law Center for coming through for me even after I gave up hope on them. People reporting on this site about Lucas Law are obviously frustrated, but the postings are NOT ACCURATE. Lucas Law Center is not a 'ripoff' or a scam of any kind. The fact is they work hard to try to do what you hire them for, but sometimes it take a long time and sometimes the results are not what you dreamed of. That is the harsh reality of the mortgage crisis and the way our government is handling it, and calling Lucas a crook or a scam is misguided frustration. Read all those nasty rip off reports with a huge grain of salt. Anyone can post them, none of the information is verified, and a pissed of ex-employee, ex-girlfriend, etc. can (and often do) post slanderous reports, and they are never held accountable. Use your brain and judge Lucas Law on your own experience. They did right by me.
