On 3/29/12 I ordered a pk of 10 s/m belly bands for my sick dog who has an incontinence problem. Upon receiving them they did not fit my dog. They were too long, too wide and way too thin.
 
I contacted the business by email and the woman refused to offer any resolution what so ever! She told me "do not send them back by mail they will be refused." She did not even offer a courtesy exchange let alone a refund! We went back and forth with our emails in her's she said she was an Honest and Reputable business. If that's the case then why doesn't she give a hoot about her customers and at least try to make them happy and offer an exchange???? They are brand new!  Because they were custom made to order-give me a break they are an oblong piece of cloth not a designer dress!! Do right by your customers! You say you have sooo many repeat customers so what was the big deal to resell the brand new belly bands? You could have even deducted the one from the cost I put around his torso for 3 seconds the other 9 were in brand new still folded in the box they way they came. What kind of person and business are you? Your completely out for yourself! 

That is not the actions of an honest and reputable business!! Who cares who is right or wrong or how come they don't fit- THEY DONT FIT and are useless to me and the poor dog. 

This woman is ruthless and does not care one bit about making a customer satisfied (as it states on her website.)  She is heartless and rude once she has your money! DO NOT BUY FROM HER!!! She can keep my 80.00 dollars she needs it s****.>
Their are Honest and Reputable business that make these too -GO SHOP THERE. STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS NO MATTER WHAT SHE MAY RESPOND BACK TO ME- SHE IS A RIP OFF!! CONSUMERS BEWARE!! I am here for your best interest to make sure this lady doesn't take advantage of any one else!! Tell all your friends that own dogs too! Maybe she will think twice about helping people that buy from her in good faith next time!

I did go back and take a good look at those four complaints like the as the employee suggested. It seems the company wants to make themselves look like the customers with complaints are all crazy but here is an email from the company owner himself to a patron...

"Wow, how extremely rude of you!

First off, we have sold over 14,000 of these bands and we very RARELY have a single complaint.  Perhaps it's because the rest of the people in America can READ? And even measure?

Explain to me why it's my fault that you can't read and/or measure?

If a 10-12" size band doesn't fit your dog, then your dog is NOT 10".

Period.

We add 3" of velcro to allow for the velcro overlap so you can adjust the bands to fit any size from 10 to inches. It's funny how these exact bands fit other 10" dogs perfectly... hmmm? No one else has complained about our sizing chart!

And did i force you to buy again? Absolutely not. In fact, we wouldn't allow it now.

Had you not been so extremely over-the-top-rude and ignorant in your email we might have allowed an exchange for a smaller size. Too bad your bad attitude got in your way. You didn't even give us a chance to fix your order. I feel very sorry for you.

And for the record - we put a LOT of time and materials into our products, which is why we have such a large customer base, with many VERY HAPPY repeat customers. Our profit is from our happy customers which makes up about 99.9% of our customers. How dare you call us dishonest when you didn't even ask us to fix your order when it was your mistake to begin with!

I'll pray that you are able to find peace at some point in your life and stop treating people so badly who have done nothing to deserve it from you.

You should be so very ashamed of yourself. Don't contact us again."

As you can see, this is what we've been dealing with.  The tone of her posts says it all. She says to read all the other complaints from people "across the country" and there have been 4.  Yes, FOUR.  A whopping 4 customers "across the country" out of hundreds of thousands, have complained about our business.  And all 4 didn't read what they were purchasing.

She keeps complaining that we didn't give her a "courtesy" exchange.  Clearly, she does not know what a "courtesy" is.   We offer courtesies to our customers daily.  But when they call names, demand things, and are completely RUDE in their emails, and try to bully us into a "courtesy", we draw the line.  A courtesy is earned.   She filed a credit card chargeback with Paypal before we even had the chance to respond to her second email.  Once she filed the chargeback, courtesies were no longer an option.  (The Paypal chargeback was closed in our favor, we got our money back because they found the customer was in the wrong).

YES, please DO read ALL 4 complaints made against us.  You will see what kind of people are the ones making these complaints.  Please read our facebook page and talk to our actual customers, and read their comments about our products and services.   We are very proud of Paws To Admire!

I am also glad she put her website up on here and posted my responses back to her. Because that is "exactley" what I think of her and it makes it easier for good people to know to where stay away from shady businesses such as "Paws to Admire." 

"Love your customers"...lololol GOD FOR BID though they don't fit...lol Then it's "WE don't give a Sh*t about our customers" is more like it...lolol 

At least I kept it real. This woman lies through her teath about how she represents herself and her company.

I am co-owner of this business, and here's what actually happened in this transaction:

Buyer purchased  a 10 pk of belly bands (she had not bought from us before).  We have a NO RETURN policy on ALL of our belly bands pages.  We never stated our products are "designer" items, but we take time to custom make EVERY SINGLE belly band we sell.   Because they are dog diapers, and because we hand make every product, and put a lot of time and materials into all of our products, we do not offer returns.  We have a very clear size chart listed on ALL of our belly band pages.  The fact that the buyer stated these were "too long" and "too wide" is proof that she did not READ the size chart or measure her dog prior to ordering 10 belly bands from us. 

Yesterday, we received an email from this buyer stating "I am going to be returning these they are
too long and too wide".  She did not ASK if she could return these, and did not ask for an exchange.  She told us to re-sell them to another customer. 

Because of the nature of these products (dog diapers), we do not re-sell these to other customers.  Would you want to receive dog diapers that had the scent of another dog on them?  (This may very well affect the way the dog reacts to the belly bands as well, if they have the scent of another dog on them).  And if they were smokers, and the belly bands smelled like smoke, we would never be able to sell them to another customer, we wouldn't even attempt it. 

Every company has the right to their own COMPANY POLICY.  That is why there are policies.  Our policy states we do not accept returns on our belly bands.  It is up to the company to decide to bend the policies if they feel the need, but it is not a requirement.  

She filed a Paypal dispute / chargeback, and it was closed IN OUR FAVOR, because of the policy stated on our website.   You can't order custom made products, and want to return them "just because you don't like them".

Here is what this customer wrote in emails to me:  (grammatical and spelling errors are hers)

"What kind of lowclass business woman are you anyway?"
"Your a real pc of garbage lady"
"Keep the money shady lady"
"You my dear ARE a lowlife!"

Now ask yourself - if you received an email like this from a customer, would you bend the rules for her?  Possibly, but not likely.   We are an honest company who bends the rules for our customers quite often.  Probably more than we should!  But we love our customers.  However, we will NOT be bullied or threatened either.  That is where we draw the line.

We have a perfect rating through the BBB, and we would not have been in business all these years if our customers were not happy with our products or our customer service.  The only customers who complain are the ones who don't read what they are ordering, and then complain because they didn't read our no-return policy.  Anyone who can read this complaint can probably see where the problem really lies here.

We see this complaint as an opportunity to tell people about our products!  Please visit our website at http://shop.pawstoadmire.com for the best, most affordable quality made belly bands you'll find anywhere.  Stores like Petco charge around $25 for one belly band.
