I am not sure what others have gone through but the purpose of PDL is to confront the agencies that are charging you outrageous intrest rates on your payday loans which is mostly likely why you've reached out for help in the first place. In 2011 I did 3 payday loans the 3 others used my information via internet when I never actually apply for loans stating I owed. Two companies out of the 3 I paid off but they continued to take money out of my long standing account!!

I becan getting calls and threats left and right from the companies that I still owed and from those who I never even did business with. The companies that continued to debit my account without my consent after my debt was paid, caused me to  fallen behind in everything from bills, school loans, rent and childcare. All b/c the prices I was told in the beginning were hiked up with hidden fees and these companies had access to my bank account. I was about to loose it so I called PDL. I dont have a sob story to write b/c I did all that they told me to do, (i.e close my account) and paid the program fees in a timely manner.

The debts I owed were never fully paid to their standards but from what my promissary notes stated I owed. Was this PDL's fault? NO. Their job was to contact my lendors, validate the fees owed and if the companies return the valid information within 30 days then a further settlement and pmt plan is set up. Ironically none of the lenders submitted this information and I was told in 4 months that i'd finished the program and satified the debt based off of the documentation I provided for the companies I actually did business with.

Did the phone calls stop all at once? NO not at all. But in time they really did! I am not sure what happened to everyone else but not everyone feels ripped off I feel at peace knowing I did my part and so did PDL. I know this b/c an incident did occur maybe a month after I finished the program where a law firm for on of the loans I did work with called my job harrassing me stating they were going to summon me to court. So I got the companies information, name, address telephone and stated I was not obligated to give them any information about myself or my personal information. And whatever they had on file to send it in writing and not to call my job without my consent per the laws of the FTC. Please ppl learn your rights and how you can file complaints with the FTC. Needless to say the caller got angry and hung up on me.

So, I  called PDL back, because they offer services and answers to their clients even after finishing the program. I told them about the call and they immediately got on the phone put me on 3way and I didnt say a word I let them talk. When the same alleged attorney answered and PDL began to inquire about the harrassing call, the attorney seemed taken by surprise and came up with a totally different story that they were calling ppl off a list and didnt know I'd resolved my case. When PDL stated they sent forms to the oirginating company which they never responded to the attorney was quiet and PDL said if they wanted to continue with a summons we would see them all in court!!! Needless to say I never got that summons and PDL will be there when things like that happen b/c they have all the paperwork and letters you help them build as a case against the fraudulent charges Payday Loans will throw on you from the start.

All I am saying is it worked for me! By the summer of 2012, everything stopped and its now 2014 and still no more calls or letters from payday loans stating I owe. All I can say is thankyou thankyou PDL! I got my life back and I will NEVER DO A PAYDAY LOAN again! I am glad I used PDL and I would recommend them if you are willing to be patient, consistent with payments and stay on top of your situations like when harrassing calls do come in you have to let the representatives know so they can help you. That's what helped me and they all were always willing to resolve the calls, emails or mailing that I got.

Its a shame so many companies threaten people and lie to them but its also a relief when you find a company that still holds to their word. I dont wish the turmoil that paydayloans put on me for anyone so I pray if you dont choose PDL you choose someone to help you get your life, freedom and privacy back. Even if its finding a bank that states in their bylaws that they protect you from unauthroized charges like payday loans.

Best of luck and courage to alll those who need a way out.
