Payless Lotions Took my money, Did NOT deliver the products I ordered. Won't respond to emails. Indianapolis Indiana
I placed an order on 5/2/08. Payless Lotions debited my account on 5/7/08. I wrote an email asking where my order was on 5/18/08, no reply.
I wrote another email today, 6/3/08 asking the same question.
I also told them that although their web site states it is within MasterCard and Visa "rules" for them to wait 30 days to ship products, I was told by MC and Visa that this is not true. Companies are not allowed to charge a purchase until the merchandise is ready to ship. Therefore what this company is doing is illegal whether they eventually ship the merchandise or not.
As many of the complainants stated they have not received their merchandise yet and don't expect to. So does anyone have any ideas as to what we can do to get our money back? I have $41.22 involved in my purchase. Not a lot to many but it is to me. What else can we do to keep others from using this web site/merchant?

VisaUSA has all the rules and regulations for their merchants online if anyone is interested. http://usa.visa.com/merchants/operations/op_regulations.html?it=c|/merchants/index.html|Visa%20Operating%20Regulations They even have penalties and fines for merchants that DON'T adhere to the rules. I thought Payless Lotions might find this interesting so I emailed the link above to them along with the list of fines. This is pertinent since Payless Lotions claims they are within Visa and Mastercard Guidelines of sending out merchandise within 30 days of payment. Visa says different! Visa and Mastercard say charge to account when merchandise is shipped. Ooops! Payless Lotions needs to be fined for not following the rules and blatantly posting a lie on their web site. I also wrote Visa USA a letter with the link to Payless Lotions page stating the above. I told Payless Lotions, I want my money back. They need to listen. I'm still not through with them.
