Payne & Richards Sent paper work to my husband under the pretenses that they were the Comptroller office Bakersfield California
They sent paper work to my Husband under the pretenses that they were from the Texas Comtroller Office. They did none of the work other then send some papers through the mail. I had been looking on-line for my husbands money and I think they some how found out and intercepted the papers
I needed or they got them first so that they could send them. When I called them about it they gave me a run around. Claiming they have every right. I did all the work including filling out the paper work and mailing it off. I also tracked it down to where I could send it and made the calls to retrieve it. I also drove my husband to get his money.
They did nothing to help. In fact after doing some searching I found out they are not involved with the comptrollers office at all. They charged my husband with a large amount, when he did not pay them for doing nothing they filed against his credit.
I have tried to dispute this charge and have been treated badly and was treatened in a way. We are not the only ones they have done this too.
