..or something to help you come down off the crack high.

Why are you challenging me to a physical fight? Are you going to be waiting for me outside after school or something?

I don't really care about the shape you are in for a 47 year old. Once again I get the impression that you are of the mind of a 12 or 13 year old to wit...but have the deep deep inbreed hatred, bias, and bitterness of a 75 year old bigot.

But all the aside...I simply asked to explain how the poster of this report has done anything more then simply lodge here to warn others of a scam. Did this poster really deserve your abuse?

I have no desire to meet you after school to fight. Who would win there has nothing to do with this website. But you are certainly portraying yourself on this site as a bully. A bully..regardless of internet or the school yard..is really nothing but a coward who has to use verbal intimidation, belittling, mocking, demeaning, and threats rather then reason to "attempt" to prove themselves as superior.

Sad thing is for bullies..the techniques prove quite the contrary. I am here for you if you need any further guidance.

The ironic thing is I was picked on by a bully when I was in third grade and cried to my father. My father laughed and told me, "just punch him in the face". So, I punched him in the face. Then he cried to his daddy. A few days later..we became best friends.

Ronny G,

I don't really care what your opinion is of me or of anything else because you are an idiot. But don't think for a minute that I would hesitate to say anything to you in person that I would say here.

Old man? I'm 47, youd***weed. And in better shape at 47 than most 25 year old "tough guys" I run into. The First Premier thing. A non issue. Done and overwith. The way I deal with anything that doesn't work for me.

Anytime, anyplace. Punk.

..my comment about "forced" has to do with your constant bashing of BestBuy implicating they somehow "force" services onto their customers. So, I was being sarcastic and facetious . I actually am in FULL agreement..no one is "forced" to pay.

Now as far as me living in the land of "fruits and nuts", apparently again, you have not been on this site long enough to judge me personally, or you would have noted that I consistently bash California and Los Angeles for being run by a bunch of idiots, if it is run at all. I am NOT a native here, I am here due to business reasons and it is NOT my first choice. So back the hell off with that nonsense..I nor anyone else cares what you think of California, or that your bias does anything to help anyone, because it simply does not.

Nor does blaming Califonia for everyone's problems...you have yet to ever explain how California caused a single problem of yours..or anyone elses for that matter so put up..or SHUT up.It does not impress me, and it does not impress anyone else. It is your BIASED opinion and means nothing if you can't back it up.

Now as far as this post and your negative mean spirited grumpy OLD MAN bitter comments...read the report. What does it say? I will tell you since you seem to know more about it then the actual poster....

It is simply posting to warn others of a scam. So how do you think it helped anyone for you to come here and be a d****e bag about it?

If anyone has a drinking and crack habit..it appears to be you Steve..unless all this negativity and pent up anger is due to mistreatment as a child...abused much? Picked on? Bullied? Is this why you are such a big man internet bully hiding behind a keyboard and screen? Leave everyone alone and deal with your stupid sucker Premier Bank sub prime issues..that should be your focus...the stuff YOU do wrong..not to knock everyone else who is simply posting here to warn others.

This "PC-Bug Repair" IS THE MALWARE.

In each case reported, the person filing the report states that they got a pop up on the screen or similar notification that their pc was infected and they needed to pay this fee to fix it.

First of all, I PROPERLY protect and secure my pc on a DAILY basis so this will never happen to me. That is how "I would handle it" as you asked.

Only STUPID people get on the internet without ADEQUATE protection from intrusion.

I would bet money that this person's computer had no working or up to date security/anti-virus software on it. This is USUALLY the case.

"Forced" to pay? By whom? Did someone hold a gun to this person's head? I didn't read that sequence of events here.

Why would a person continue on the internet with an already infected / compromised computer??? The answer is STUPIDITY.

Why couldn't this person just go down to the local computer store or office supply store and get a GOOD, legitimate anti-vrius program for like $40??

That would have been the OBVIOUS solution.

But, this MORON, goes back online to a computer with a known security issue and infection, and inputs his FINANCIAL INFORMATION to an unknown entity.

Am I the only one here who sees that as sheer STUPIDITY?? But, you live in the land of fruits and nuts and a society of people who want to blame everyone else for their own mistakes and/or stupidity. get a grip on reality RONNY G. Put down the booze, the pills, and the crackpipe and get a reality check here. PLEASE.

..that no one is "forced" to pay anything. However, how do you know what was wrong with this persons PC?

Perhaps this consumer was trying to fix this themselves and that is why they looked online rather then bring it in somewhere.

But since you are the expert Steve,,oh tell us great Steve, how should this consumer have fixed the problem since you seem to know what it was?

Agreed that this "PC-Bug Repair" is a scam, but you had lots of options.

The first thing that you should understand is that if you had properly protected your computer with a good and updated antivirus and spyware program, this malware could have never got on your computer in the first place.

The second option would be to do the clean up yourself.

But nobody "forced" you to pay $79.95! Did they hold a gun to your head?

Get some basic computer education and you will save a lot of time and money, and embarrassmentin the future.
