peach chevrolet unauthorized pulling of credit report and service issues brewton Alabama
on 4/7/2015 i went to this dealership with an issue involving excessive play in my steering, I already diagnosed the problem as the steering box. they looked at it and said it was the pitman arm, they replaced it and charged me $600 well that didn't fix the problem. I went to another dealer and they adjusted the steering box and charged me $125 and that resolved the issue
while I waited most of the day for the repair I was interested in a used truck they had for sale, they were asking $4000 more than NADA retail value. I test drove the truck and offered them retail value {$10000} for the vehicle but they declined.
they photocopied my drivers license saying it was necessary for the test drive, well guess what they also pulled my credit report from all 3 bureau's even though I told them I would be paying cash if we came to terms. I called them and they said thats standard procedure. I say bulls*** that inquiry stays on my report for 2 years and each inquiry drops your score by several points. if this was the last dealer on the planet to buy and or fix my vehicle I would get a horse and buggy instead. they yes sir to your face constantly to the point where it sounds condescending and annoying.
