Peak Roofing system is a company that is a preffered contractor sent by my insurance agent Mr. Babu Barghese with Farmers Insurance.

We Signed a contract with Peak Roofing System on 6/28/16. We gave the check recieved from the Farmers Ins. to Peak Roofing System on 7/25/16 for the amount of $14,706.96. Peak Roofing agreed to complete the roof on July 27 and 28.

The Materials for roofing was delivered on the 1st week of August. We told Peak Roofing that we will be out of town for 1 week on August 4-9. Peak Roofing aggred to finish the work in our absense and the roof will be ready by the time we are back. We were back August 9 and the work was still not started but some of the materials were missing as the bundles were open.

We called Peak Roofing and asked about it. Peak roofing reply was that it might have been stolen. On August 22 Peak Roofing came to our house, took the Materials and moved them to our backyard and some on our roof also. Peak Roofing agreed to finish the roof by the last week of August.

On the 1st. week of September Peak Roofing came to our home with roof workers to do start roof. Since the weather was for rain 40% (it rained that day) we asked Peak Roofing not to do the roofing that day. After that, Peak Roofing Systems was not answering our phone calls and messages left on his phone. On Sept 10, 2016, Peak roofing called and said they would be coming on September 12 but did not show up. Instaed Peak Roofing came out on Sept 14 and started to remove and tear off roof. By that afternoon, Peak Roofing had a disagreement with the roof crew and they left our home. Peak Roofing had only one guy on our 60+ square roof and worked until 10pm and said they would be back the next day. The roofs were not complete and exposed and not water sealed. on the 3rd. week of September Peak Roofing camr for a few hours and then left with work not completed. On Sept. 26 that evening it rained and the water was dripping from the roof in the kitchen and utility room. We called Peak Roofing at 8pm to report it to them. All of the Attic were flooded and the insulations were wet. Peak Roofing brought fans and kept them for 48 hrs to dry. After this event Peak Roofing Systems never returened to complete the Job.

RETRACTION

#2Author of original report

Sat, December 30, 2017

We have now learned that the report we posted on Ripoff Report was inaccurate and wanted to post this retraction and apology to Peak Roofing Systems.

Upon a more careful review of the situation, we now know what happened. We were presented a contract by Tim Perry, then a salesman and estimator for Peak Roofing, to replace our roof. We were told later by the President of Peak Roofing that that contract was never approved by the company. Apparently, after Mr. Perry was told by Peak that Peak Roofing could not replace our roof for the price in the contract, Mr. Perry then presented a new contract to us under the name AARC Roofing, a company that he appeared to own and operate while he was employed by Peak Roofing. Upon discovering this a few months later, Mr. Perry was immediately fired by Peak Roofing.

The check from our insurance company was not deposited by Peak Roofing Systems, but the money was deposited into the account of Tim Perry/AARC Roofing. We have been told that the roofing material for the job was purchased by Tim Perry, for cash, from West End Lumber, and that Peak Roofing Systems does not ever purchase from West End Lumber. Not all of the roofing materials purchased by Tim Perry/AARC Roofing were delivered by Mr. Perry to our property, and Mr. Perry/AARC Roofing did not complete the new roof.

Apparently, it was Tim Perry, acting on his own behalf as AARC Roofing (and not Peak Roofing Systems), that took our money and never completed the installation of the new roof. We apologize to Peak Roofing Systems for any trouble or loss of reputation or business due to our post on this website has caused.

This is a case of mistaken identity. The actions complained by “Thomas—Carrollton Texas USA” were done by Tim Perry (a former contractor and estimator for Peak) and AARC Roofing, not Peak Roofing Systems. Peak Roofing Systems is in the process of filing a lawsuit for libel and defamation of character and disparagement against the man who filed this false report, as well as Mr. Tim Perry. In June, 2016, Tim Perry was hired by Peak Roofing as an independent contractor and project estimator. In July, 2016, Mr. Perry submitted a proposal to the client for $15,000 under the name of AARC Roofing. Peak Roofing had no knowledge of this at the time. Peak Roofing later learned that the check from Farmers Insurance was paid to Tim Perry/AARC Roofing to install a new roof, not Peak Roofing Systems. The materials for the job were purchased by Tim Perry (the invoice reads Tim Berry) for cash from West End Lumber. Peak Roofing Systems has never purchased anything from West End Lumber. Peak learned later that Mr. Perry/AARC Roofing did not provide the materials or perform the work as promised to the customer. Peak met with the customer after learning of this situation, but the customer, knowing that the actions were taken by Mr. Perry and AARC, still filed this false report. Tim Perry has admitted to Peak that the actions were taken by Mr. Perry, and his company, AARC Roofing, not Peak Roofing. We have a A+ Rating on both BBB and Angie's List, as well as excellent rating with google, facebook and other medias. Do a little research on Peak Roofing Systems to understand our real character and integrity.
