Pearl Constructions/Roofing Roofing Company Dropped material on car, wont pay damages Mesquite Texas
I stayed at the La Quinta Hotel in denton, Tx the first week of June, 2014. During the night roofing material belonging to Pearl Constructions blew off and damaged my car. A total of 5 cars were damaged. 3 of those belonged to employees of the hotel, which the company fixed. The owner, Jerry Hernandez refuses to pay the 635.00 it will cost to fix my car. He wants me to drive over an hour away to see if his friend "chico" can fix it for less. The hotel is no help. The owner is a franchise and La Quinta "doesnt get involved with the franchisees". I now must take more time and trouble to sue Pearl Constructions. He failed to secure the roofing mareials on the roof, causing them to fall. The reason he hasnt fixed my car or the other non-hotel employee car is that we cant stop payment for HIS servicea. He does not carry insurance.
