Penn Foster College lying about accreditation Internet
I was a stay at home mom trying to continue my education. I found Penn foster online and went ahead and gave it a shot. After about a month or 2 of really simple "easy A" type classes I looked into it a bit more. I was working towards an AA degree in early childhood education, which we all know the procedures are updated frequently. Alot of the material I was sent was EXTREMELY outdated. Like 1985 outdated.. I had taken early childhood classes at my highschool and it was the current material that should be learned. Like different steps to changing a diaper and the nutrition requirements for certain age groups. That is when I called and was withdrawn from the program.
Then I did some online research and figured out that a man in Portland Oregon was refunded his tution and the Oregon law enforcement had fined Penn foster for lying about their accediation. They were told they were to advertise their true accediation. This was in 2013 and they STILL are using false advertisement to get people to enroll. Not to mention they have charged my account for 519 dollars which I refuse to pay and will owe that money until the day I die. I will not give those low life jerks anymore money that will just help them continue to take advantage of those who cannot afford to go to a big University. They continued to act like they didn't know what I was talking about when I confronted them over the phone.
