I enrolled my daughter in Penn Foster HS program specifically to make sure she gets a transcript. I have done a thorough evaluation of this school and found it to be reputable and to deliver an honest course load. The fees are remarkably low and my daughter should finish the entire 4 years worth of work in 2 years...not because it is easy...because my kid is bright and she works at a comfortable pace. She also doesn't have to put up with the insanity of the public school system. Anyone doing homeschooling should consider Penn Foster as an excellent alternative to any other course of study. We have been homeschooling since first grade and my daughter has always tested in the 90 to 95 percentile range on the year end CAT test. Penn Foster is doing a better job than I could and I fully believe they are honest and reputable.

yeah i know what you mean , i enrolled there as well and was accused of plagerism , haha so i dropped and told them i am not paying for this same thing happened to me and yes you are right they dont want you to finish at all, instead they want to keep making you fail find reasons to fail you on your essays because thats more money in their pockets, hell i think they should be sued for the lies and misleading and not holding up to their end of the deal , i know that i am going to tell everyone my experience and hopefully the coleges that are accredited in which the one i signed up for will hear me out one student can make a difference and sometimes thats all it takes they need to lose their accdidation for the way they are being so shady with thiir greed and money they will eventually because they are a scam hopefully the gov will realize this and shut them down , they are not so big they too cant fall in fact i dont even think its a real school anymore after the abuse that ive been through with them, i think they should pay us for the s**t they try us with, i dont care what they do with my bill i say f**** them let them try to take me to court , or even collect , it should be illegal to charge for somethng you dont even get.

I went through Penn Foster to get my high school diploma and I don't regret it for an instant. The reading and written assignments were amusing and kept light so I never felt overwhelmed. Student services was wonderfully helpful any time I had to call. And the fees they told me would come out of my bank account for school - were all that came out. Not a dime more. Sour grapes against a school because you didn't agree with their methods, that's what I'm chalking the OP's post up to. I'm in UCLA full-time now on my Penn Foster high school diploma and barely paying for school now because of the scholarships and college funds available to distance learning graduates. If I had gotten a GED, I wouldn't have had a GPA to speak of to go from high school to college. I would have had to waste time and money going to junior college before going into a university. I'm glad I was able to skip that!
