My General Practitioner gave me a referral to the Penrose-St. Francis hosptal sleep center for an over night pulse ox test. I was told to contract them for an appointment. I called on a Friday afternoon (12/15/17) after 4 p.m. and got a recording. I decided to call on Monday, 12/18/2017 in the morning. I received no answer and that was okay. I understand. It was the recording left on the sleep department phone that got me upset. Their message said "if you choose to leave a message please allow 7 BUSINESS DAYS to receive a return phone call as we are busy taking care of other patients". 7 BUSINESS DAYS?? THAT is just the most arrogant phone message I have ever heard from a major health provider. 7 BUSINESS DAYS is just beyond incredible.

If a person calls on a non holiday week on a Monday the message says they will not receive a return phone call until Wedsnesday of the next week. That is just incredulous that a health provider would be that arrogant. On top of all of this there is absolutely no department to call and complain to about this incredibly poor customer service. Also, when you go to their web page there is no place to "Contact Us". NONE whatsoever. So the bottom line is there is no phone number or email to bring this nonsense to anyones attention. This is absolutely the WORST customer service experience that I have ever encountered in my life.
