First See Here to See How Another Guy Was Screwed by These Folks: http://www.ripoffreport.com/comfort-carriers/shipping-handling/pensacola-florida-90856.htm

I needed to have a fairly expensive restaurant appliance shipped. I was contacted via Uship by Bobby and Nancy Jones- not their real names- real last name: Brea.

I booked with them and waited until the day of the pickup. The pickup had to happen by a Friday, I had it scheduled for a Thursday. They refused to pickup unless I agreed to pay an extra $200 on top of what we had agreed on.

I was told they could no longer do it for the price agreed upon, and Nancy and Bobby welched on the shipment. I then had less than 24 hours to arrange pickup of my appliance.

I now know that when they started they wanted to pickup business from s****.>
They originally went by Comfort Carriers and Loversbrea on Uship. After they screwed another guy, he put them up here. This is also them: http://www.ripoffreport.com/comfort-carriers/shipping-handling/pensacola-florida-90856.htm

They then started accepting  business as Pensacola Carriers and even started giving their name as Bobby and Nancy Jones, which is a violation of DOT trucking rules and also fraud.

When I first posted my problem on Uship's discussion forums, an elderly lady with a dog contacted me and related how Bobby and Nancy had agreed to transport her Shiatsu puppy, and wanted to do it off Uship to save her money. When the time came to pickup the dog, at pickup they demanded more money. She didn't have it and it ended up being a major hassle.

A man in Florida had bought a puppy and had them ship it. They complained about the route and tried to beg more money from them. He said at first he sort of felt bad because they didn't have much education and they seemed really down and out- the wife advertises doing makeovers and nails out of her house in Pensacola. But he also considered the following: they were way late picking up the puppy and way late delivering and he had to miss work as a result. Also the dog was dehydrated and had thrown up and was in it's own waste because they hadn't taken care of it properly over the trip. When he refused to pay more than agreed upon, the man threatened to drive off, threw a fit, and even got in his truck like he was going to drive off. Finally when the dog's owner got out his cell phone, Brea stopped, roughly took the crate out, swore and left in a huff.

When you post a problem you've had with a carrier in Uship's Community, they tend to delete any responses and your story and tell you to relist your shipment.

When a seller cancels, Uship also offers to give you your booking fee of $20 back, but if you take that option, you can't leave a negative which explains with all their cancellations and shenanigans how they've kept good feedback. They have shipped far more than they've gotten feedback for, and when that happens, it sort of tells you something.

After I started searching and figured out who I was dealing with, I am just lucky I didn't end up like the guy Ticked_Off or either of the two dog owners.
