Peoples Credit First, reported a consumer rip-off company, uses more than one address !! Tampa Florida
Hi,
I came to this site to read what others thought of this outfit. I noticed that the address given by the first reporting person is different than the address on the come-on advertisement I received from Peoples Credit First. This is important to note. Either they already have multliple P.O. boxes set up, or they changed their box # in response to complaints lodged against them. The P.O.box on the flyer I received is P.O. Box 15650 (still in Tampa FL).
I noticed the ambiguous wording in the ad they sent me, which is one reason I searched out this site to check out the company: "You may use your platinum card immediately upon receipt for all purchases from credit provider". Receipt (of card) from credit provider? May use for all purchases, or all purchases FROM CREDIT PROVIDER? Very misleading, but now I see my suspicion was correct--the card is only good for purchases from the same people selling the card !
Also, to read that further details would be provided with the card, which means AFTER I sent them my $45 or $49 also raised my suspicions.
