I answered a phone call telling me that I would be sent a credit card for $2500 for a one time fee of $299.99 taken from my bank account. I was sceptical - but desperate - so I did it. Now I am even more desperate. I feel like an idiot for believing these people. The guy on the phone was so supportive and sold me on it.

It makes me very sad and sickened to think these monsters pray on people who desperately need the money. I felt relieved to find out that others have been in the same situation. Its been almost a month since they took my money. I had no idea what to do. I read on this site to call my bank. I am worried that wont work. Any other feedback?

I feel like going up to Champlain and finding these evil people.

Champlain, New York: Canadian con-artists, fraudsters, and scammers American base of operations

#2Consumer Suggestion

Colleen, don't bother wasting your time traveling all the way up to Champlain, New York in order to find those evil people. You won't find them there. I can guarantee you that the address listed for this unscrupulous company is either a P.O. Box or a Walnut Street mail drop. Champlain is a small town on the Canadian border in the northeastern most corner of New York State. Many con-artists, mail order fraudsters, and credit card scammers from Quebec, Canada operate out of mail drops and post office boxes in this town because of it's proximity to Canada. For all it's worth, I would file a complaint against this company with both the Pennsylvania and New York State Attorney General's Offices, as well as with the United States Postal Service. After filing complaints with these agencies, I would contact your bank and/or credit card issuer and try to get them to open up their own investigation. Good luck!
