First of all you are right pepboys dont care about the consumer and most of them dont care about there self.Trust me I have been through a similar situation with them and that was very ignorant of him to say what he said to you.In the end he was probably paid to say all that. And how would you feel if someone done something like that to your wife or your child....I mean get a grip on life dude.

Here's the scoop on the warranty deal. Due to the greedy people out there scavenging through junkyards collecting 'Prostart' batteries, alternators and starters, Pepboys has reworked their return and warranty policy. In the beginning you could walk in, we'd see the manufacturer's # and warranty it without a problem. Then along comes the rotten apple with a cart full of junkyard parts and wants new ones without a receipt. (Yes, they do exist) That's why they seriously follow policy now. In teh end the Manager has the authorization to override any warranty as we see fit, be it a valid one or not. My only suggestion is don't start out by complaining and being irate, if you speak to them as a normal human, alot of times we'll give you what you want/deserve, But if you come at us like an a*s, we can throw it right back at you. Remember.... your car's busted, not ours..... we can drive home at the end of the day, If you're going to be a d**k, you'll never get what you think you deserve,
