pepboys rip-off employees as well knoxville Tennessee
first i have to say sometimes people want the impossible done to thier car. having been a technician for many years i have been accused of ripping people off. i have never ripped anybody off.
Sometimes you have to fix one problem before another sometimes more serious problem can be properly found.this relates to a much higher estimate and sometimes making the previous repair
useless. thier is no way around it. i dont expect people to know this when they bring thier car to us .. thats why they bring it to us...but before you call somebody a thief you shoukd learn what the hell your talking about...i worked for pepboys for a while, and think that they like all business could use improving.
after i worked thier 1 year i started asking about my benefits and was givin the run around ..i finally discoverd that my boss..jimmy casteel had me listed as part time even though i worked 40 hour weeks. he said ill change it and you can apply for benefits after 3 mounths,, this wasnt good enough for me.. i found out that 4 more employees were in the same shape.
we all confronted the boss jimmy casteel and the other 4 employees were fired inless than a week. i was not due to the fact i am a good tech.. still i had no ins.i went over my bosses head jimmy casteel, to the benefits dept.they were very nice and sent me an ins. packet..
the day after it arrived at work i was laid off during the busyest time of year.not only was jimmy casteel ripping off customers on prices, he was screwing his employees as well.
