Don Wilson with Perma Glaze reglazed my tub and tile. Six months later it all started to peel and fall apart. I had to call him several times to get him to talk to me and he finally came and repaired the tub. Then, 7 months later it all started to fall apart and peel again! I had to call Don at least 8 or 9 times before he finally called me back. Don told me it would cost me $400.00 for him to fix the tub this time. This is a poor product and Don Wilson does shotty poor work! Do Not Use This Man Or Permaglaze.

Don Wilson from Arizona Perma Glaze ... I ran Across this complaint today .... we do not do SHOTTY or (Shoddy ) work ... I hate whn some one has a complaint and goes to a site like this and only tells part of the story . .... So here's the entire story and the fuill truth...

We actually did A fiberglass bathtub /shower unit a cultured marble vanity top . Also in the main bath a porcelian tub and tile surround that had been previously refinished by another company that was failing .... there was never any problem with the Fiberglas tub/shower unit and the vanity top we refinished .

The tub and tile that was failing originally did have a couple issues over time wich we addressed on a couple different ocassions .... THe part Bremt has not mentioned..... in the very begining we recomended that the old finish be completly stripped off ... He wasnt willing to pay to have that done as he coulndt afford it as he was remodseling the whole house at the time .....we did try and eliminate the  peeling and flaking of the old material and explained to him at the time that our new finish would look great whenh done which it did but there was no gaurantee that the old material would not continue to fail ....He agreed to take that chance ... we warranted the worfmanship and material for a Year .... we went back for sbout 2 years on a couple of ocassions doing minor touch ups to sattisfy Brent ...after the second year I explained to him we could not continue to come back for free and that if he wanted the job redone I would charge 400.00 for the material only to redo the tub and surround and we would absorb the labor but still could not gaurantee that the old original finish might still continue to fail .... At the time he was not happy but we were trying to help him out as best we could and felt our offer was reasonable ... he left the conversation on the phone saying he would look at other options and that was the last we heard from him  .....

Fast forward 2 years and I run across this report .... If a customer has a compaint we try and satisfy the issue as best we can .... with 27 years in business there are very few complints against our business and thousnads of happy customers ..... Some times no matter what you do as the business owner you cannot satisfy the problem .... I wanted to make sue anyone reading Brents complaint understands that desocions he made in the begining caused the problem not our material or workmanship .....had we been allowed to fully strip the old material I dont believe we would have any issue ..... I believe the only way we could have made Brent happy was to continue to repair his tub and tile for the rest of his life and that was not doable ... I believe we went above and beyond to take care of him and will note again the other surfaces we did for him have not ever been an issue .

I do have an issue with the way Rippoff Report works .... This website is very unfair to business owners ...it never notifies a business when a complaint is filed ..it only sides with the complaintant as there is no way to remove  this compliant from the internet .... it does let the business file a rebuttel but almost hides the rebuttle so the average person may never see what the business has to say about the complaint ... and when the whole story is told even then this report will not be removed by the website ...in this age of socail media some companies beg there customers to file positive reports about products and services at permaglaze we do not do that we let our BBB and ROC rating speak for what we do ...so you may find an ocasional complaint online but what you dont see is the thousands of satisfied and happy customers that keep our BBB and ROC ratings high ..... The real Rippoff is the Rppoff Report website  thats just my humbnle opinion ..... THanks Don Wilson Az Perma Glaze
