Pet Smart Distribution Center Pet Smart sold me a sick Guinea Pig Frederick, Maryland
I bought a guinea pig from Pet Smart the week before Christmas for my three and a half year old son who is in love with the movie G-force. I researched online for what woould be a heathly guinea pig i.e. no wet tail, clear eyes, etc.
Today is January 22, I had the pig about a month and tonight he died. I saw worms comming out of his eyes about ten minutes after he died. It just so happens that my son was up when this happened. He told me to make him come back to life.
I am so mad that I explained to the lady who sold me this animal, that I was buying it for my son and I needed to make absolutely sure that it was healthy. She said they were and that the one I chose was the nicest of them all, little did I know it was because he was slowly dying.
We named the guinea pig Brash, is was a mixture of both my son's names, now Brash is dead and my oldest son is inconsolable. I will NEVER buy another pet from this company for as long as I live, not only because our animal died but because they are selling sick animals and breaking children and adults hearts by having them fall in love with a dying animal with even bothering to tell them.
I have never written a review in my life but I couldn't let this go, this company needs to quit selling animals all together. They make me sick!
