You seem to have a specific 'personal' problem with this artist for reasons your not disclosing. First of all, 2008 was 2 years ago. -There have been no complaints buy the 'consumer' public placed with us about prices or shipping problems. And, you, yourself say it was a sales person and not Peter himself. If you don't like the product, like hundreds of thousands of other people, WORLD WIDE, don't buy. Its simple.

Where are you coming up with this stuff? I proudly work for Peter and I can tell you, he owns one one the most expensive and state of the art photo processing studios I've ever seen. I haven't been with his company that long, but I do know some 'unproductive, freebie minded' employees were disposed of in the last six months, so it shouldn't surprise anyone how stupid your 'fabricated' story is. Some of us earn a living, my friend, and just because you think your so special, you deserve a free ride from whom ever you work for, don't make yourself look more pathetic than you already are. If his artwork and photography is so easy to achieve and 'photoshop', why aren't you doing it and opening your galleries world wide? Whaaa whaaa whhaaaa, I didn't get a free ride--- give us all a break and grow up. So, until you become a millionaire with your 'photoshop' idea there and grow a few worldwide galleries, guess an intelligent person will just have to consider you for what you are...... a liar. Have a great day.

The release of Peter's 25th Anniversary Big Book experienced a slight production delay during the publishing process. Having invested millions of dollars in the project, producing, designing, laying out, and coordinating a book of this quality and size was no easy task. After all, the book is leather bound and weighs over 30 pounds! It is unreal!
Due to the level of excitement and anticipation during the development of this project, many people pre-ordered the book before it was even sent to press! I have personally heard from dozens of clients that said the book was worth the wait.
In reference to the price discrepancies, I have no doubt that if a Big Book was part of a transaction that was large enough to qualify for any type of bulk level concession, this could have occured. Such situations are consistent with pricing guidelines set by the artist and we have gone to great lengths to ensure consistency within all 14 of our galleries.
In reference to people not receiving the book, if this is true, it would be an administrative error and I would encourage the collector to contact Peter Lik's corporate offices and ask for the Customer Service Department. We stand behind our artist, product, and business practices 100%.

Do not believe the Peter Lik hype! you can purchase Peter Lik work on ebay for a fraction of the hyped up Peter Lik gallery prices. Ghost AP in the Peter Lik stores quoted for over $100,000.00 went NO BID on ebay with a starting price of $25,000.00. The gig is up, no more rip-offs peter, time to jump to a new country... or back to the AU, either way cheers mate.

As a former production employee of Pete's, I can assure you that his work in undeniably, 100% post-produced.IE: photoshopped! I even was sitting in the office outside of the "studio"- a room filled with high powered computers and 4, count them FOUR graphic artists, listening in on Pete screaming at his one friend Mick to saturate the colors MORE!!!! he said. He does have a great eye, he has great ability with his equipment, and enough money to travel where he needs to get these great shots. BUT....why does he tell all of his salespeople to lie and say that he does no post production work to his art???? Kind of strange in 2008. Also do not let them talk to you about re-sale or how much the print goes up in value, i know someone who just bought a 1.5m print framed and all on ebay that is sold out, "the jetty" for $3200 (including shipping) The sales people were telling people that it would go in excess of $100,000!!!

I would not, NOT purchase any of Peter Lik's pictures, his business practices are not honorable, if fact they are as close to a scam as you could imagine.
