Someone here was obviously threatened with a substantial lawsuit (as Peter Pappas is fond of doing) if they didn't present a full retraction!

I have been asked to make the following items VERY CLEAR: 1. Mr. Pappas was sent my documents for initial review only. 2. Mr. Pappas was never retained or sent any monies in any form. 3. Mr. Pappas graciously corresponded with me 3 times via email and was not paid for this. 4. Mr. Pappas has returned my documents to me. 5. Mr. Pappas has returned my documents to me. 6. Mr. Pappas was never given any money. 7. Mr. Pappas was never given any money. I never intended to elude to the fact that Mr. Pappas had taken any MONEY from me. This was (and has always been) about my DOCUMENTS with our personal information, including SS#'s, DOB and other documents needing to be returned. Mr. Pappas has KINDLY returned my documents to me. THANK YOU! April 1, 2009

Christine was never a client of our firm and did not pay us a single cent. She sent us what we assumed were copies of the case file of her current attorney for purposes of getting a second opinion. We did not ask her to send us originals or her only copy. We rendered our opinion free of charge and Christine gushingly thanked us for in several emails. As soon as we located the records we copied and mailed them to her at our own expense.
