Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
this sales rep named peter rhee came in by appointment on June 7, 2008. He asked for our statement and after a few minute reviewing he said he can save us 150.00 monthly by switching over to Merchant Lynx, most importantly he said merchant lynx charges 69.99 monthly service fee and that includes the credit card machine, I told him we have a credit card machine relatively new that we don't need it, he explained that if I don't take the machine, Merchant Lynx is going to charge the same fee regardless, so finally I said yes. After I sign the agreement form he left and gave me his business card so that I can contact him if I had any questions. Days later I found out that upon receiveing the machine and a lease equipment welcome letter from First Data Global Leasing that I knew I was tricked into signing a lease equipment form which states that I signed a four year non-cancellable lease for 69.99 monthly which plus tax would came out to be 3650.00 or so. My previous merchant processing company's sales representative review the paper work for me and told me that I had been tricked into signing this agreement and that this older model credit card maching is worth no more than 200.00 brand new and she was right, I checked online and a new 2085 nurit system go for as low as 109.00. I called this Peter Rhee numerous times, left messages, he never ever return my phone calls so I contacted Merchant Lynx customer services but to no surprise, they couldn't help me, it's a non-cancellable lease and that I'm stuck with it, now I had to make a complaint to the FTC, Better Business Bureau and I need to find a lawyer and file fraud at the police station and lastly contact the State Attorney General about this rediculous matter. If anyone ever see this Peter Rhee or anyone from Merchant Lynx, BEWARE, never ever let them take your hard earned money, they are known for their lies, con artist representative who will say anything to get you into signing the lease. Anybody who were tricked by this con artist should contact the state attorney general, FTC, Better Business Bureau and file fraud report at local police
