Classic case of the second new ownership is introduced someone tries to get something for nothing. Everyone wants your money in their pocket, this guy tries to take advantage of a store that had just been bought by new ownership and then attacks the new owner. Pretty low. I see cases of this happening frequently across the nation. PEOPLE ALWAYS WANT SOMETHING FOR NOTHING WHEN A STORE IS BOUGHT OUT. Being a new owner inherits problems from previous owners, I'm sorry consumers, it is not the new ownerships fault, the owner you had the problem with is gone, don't try to take advantage of the situation in such a dishonest manner. How can you sleep at night? You obviously don't have much business knowledge.

Hey, it sounds like the service department is having a hard time duplicating the conditions where you have the problem. Have you offered to help them resolve this issue. Obviously, you know exactly how to make it happen. Take some responsibility and offer to show them yourself. Yeah, it may take a little of your time, but you want it fixed, don't you? It's your rig, and they have your money already, sounds like you need to pursue getting some value for your expense. Peterson is a locally-owned (not a national mega-dealer chain) who have been successful in the local automotive market since sometime in the 1920's. They would not have been able to be that successful without providing good customer service. While it is regretable that, at times, the complexity of modern automotive mechanisms, by that very nature, can make it difficult to duplicate the exact conditions that lead to a system failure, with patience and pro-active involvement by you in your situation, a satisfactory resolution should be attainable.

Peterson Autoplex of Boise Idaho purchased Chevrolet of Boise From Lithia in September 07'. Mr. Ronnie B. has been dealing with the previous owners on an a/c concern wih his Chevy Suburban which has therefore continued into repairs that Petersons has performed and are willing to stand behind! Per all unknowingly taped conversations that Mr. Ronnie B recorded of our employees and posted, all content led to our advice to bring the vehicle back into our service department for inspection of concern at no charge. We also advised him that because the vehicle is in Utah that he should bring his vehicle to a GM dealer there in town for convenience. Have the Dealer contact us if for any reason we were at fault so that we may take full responsibilty. He has also contacted the BBB(as per attatchment). In response to Mr. Baird's complaint, we at Peterson Chevrolet feel at this time no reimbursement is owed to him. We also feel that taping our conversations without informing anyone prior is also unethical and in some places illegal. But if you will take the time to listen to what he did record and placed on youtube.com you will hear that at no time did we inform him that we would not look at his vehicle again to determine what happened to cause this issue but you will hear both Scott Bradshaw and Greg Hill try to explain that the second repair was caused by the original failure and that the problems he is having now could still be related and again that we need to see what happed to determine the fault. Mr. Baird states that his front ac was working after it was repaired partially and then failed again which could mean a possible faulty part that could be covered under parts warranty or as stated before more damage could have been caused by the original failure and the metal is slowly making its way thru the system. Either way we will not reimburse the customer with just the information that was discussed over the phone. We are not able to diagnose repiairs over the phone. He makes reference that the vehicle will be in Salt Lake City until this summer, why don't we have him take it to the local gm dealership and have them look at it and advise us on what they find .We believe that the problem is more than likely that the expansion valve in the system is again plugged up with the metal contamination caused from the original repair (which we have already flushed the system but some times it will take multiple flushes. Again this is somewhat explained to him on the conservations taped on youtube ) .
