Petsunlimited.com ripoff Searched websites for veterinarian advice but had to sign for one month with credit card;NO VETS; ONLY Instant Messages and charged my credit card for last two months Cannot enter website to cancel Reston Virginia
I wanted Veterinarian advice for my dogs health and saw the website PetsUnlimited.com. After viewing it, I had to purchase one month on my credit card to access what the site advertised as extensive vet support.
Pets Unlimited still had the same measly information that was on the teaser site to join. Immediately after registering, I received three Instant Messages from 'other members' asking what kind of dogs I had, what was I doing right then, and when would be a good time to talk.
After numerous e-mails from the site asking me to view different things, I elected to cancel, but they just cancelled the emails. My credit card was charged another $5.95 even though I agreed to try it for just one month.
When I click on their site, it says to click on the site to view my messages, and if that doesn't work to click another one.
I did and that led to "In just a few days the all new PetsUnlimited will launch." The site also calls itself Spotlove.com.

We would like to note that you may at anytime cancel your PetsUnlimited.com or Spotlove.com account by logging into your profile. Please note there are a plethora of vet and animal health information under the pet library section. We would also like to note that when you registered, you clicked the I agree to the terms of service and site use policies, which indicates that you have read and agree to the site use policies, and contained therein is the billing and refund policy. Please note it clearly states the following under OTHER - Billing / Fees / Miscellaneous: "In order to bring you uninterrupted service and for your convenience, your subscription will renew automatically until you tell us otherwise by resigning your membership from your profile preferences page and the billing and refund policy page. " When registering, and clicking the you agree to the site use policies, it means that you have read and understand the policies. Claiming that you did not know your membership renewed would indicate that you did not read the site use policies and therefore should not have clicked the I agree box.
