PGM Products Refused to honor 15 year warranty on flooring product after surface failure within 2 months of installation Barrington New Jersey
One thousand square feet of PGM Floating Flooring was properly installed in October of 2003 and the surface layer is separating from the wood base after 2 months with no traffic on the floor.
The PGM warranty specifically guarantees against this defect for 15 years, but they refuse to do anything about the problem.
The representative states that this just happens to this type of flooring sometimes, completely ignoring the fact that their stated warranty guarantees against this condition.

your original complaint doesn't specify.... Where in your house was this flooring installed? was it installed below grade? (basement or lower level of a split-ranch?) if so, read your warranty and product information carefully.... many flooring products are not acceptable for below-grade installations.... or if they are, special precautions must be taken (like special underlayments, etc) good luck.
