Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
About 24 months ago Pheonix Executive Group contacted me about a possible job and they could help me in my job search. Well, I was a little skeptical, so I told Paul Jacob I would think about it and get back to him.

Well, the job search was going nowhere and I was frustrated, and I called Paul Jacob and spent some time on the phone and we set up a meeting in July of 2004. I met with him and discussed my situation, and advised him that most of my contacts retired, and I looking for a recruiter that can assist me in finding a new position, and that my family was in critical financial status. I was about to lose my home and everything I owned. Well he proceed to advise me that the have place many clients, which is their contacts, and he could find me a job in 2-3 months. I was excited, so I told him let me talk to my wife and I get back to you.

He did say it would cost me, but did not tell me what the cost was until he met with my wife and me. We spend some time meeting with later that week, my wife and I, and Paul was telling us about how he can help us in 2-3 months, and he had a written document (which I still have in my possession) that he could find me a job paying a package of $350,000 a year + and that his organization has placed many executives and he could help.

Well, my wife and I asked him, are you sure about your contacts, because we heard of a company called Harvard, the same type of company and they were not delivering. He said they were different. We asked him 4-6 more times, about how the market is bad and contacts are the only way into this market, are you sure you can deliver. He said yes. I advised him they would be taking my last $8000.00 is savings and I really need to be assured I can get this back quickly, and he said we will get it back and then some as part of a signing bonus we will get you, don't worry.

I tried calling him, but he will not return a call, and I had it in writing that this was guaranteed, but when I asked for my money back, Paul Jacob would not return a call, but have jack Santore call me and say lets meet. Well, my wife and me believed him, and I called him and told him I was upset, because it cost me $8000.00 to $870.00 is stamps to send out all the mailers they asked me to do. I did everything they asked of me, even sent out letters from a list they gave me for Texas and NJ and NY, The assisted me in writing my resume and cover letter.

I sent this out to 400 companies in TX and 375 Companies in NJ/NY. Not one call or interview. Then it became instead of meeting once a week (this after 3 months) it became once a months or two weeks if I called and said, hey we never set up anther meeting time. My family did not even have a Christmas, because we had no money, and I had to refinance my house (which I did not have to do if they came through on their promise) to get cash to save our house and assets. I would like my money refunded all $8000.00 plus my $870.00 in stamps envelopes, and I should get something for all my time spent and for my kids losing Christmas.

They are part of the better business org, so I guess they feel they cannot be touch.

I want everyone to know, these companies are rip offs, if they can not place you in 2-3 months, or even in years, because they lie to you and you are no good to them and they avoid you like you are a nothing, if they cannot place you in 3 months.

Frank You are NOT alone... Frank, look up Phoenix Executive (no group)and you will see more postings on this corrupt company. Follow the procedures below, in hope that it may help you. These procedures below were followed with a company called Harvard Professional Group. You can find all of the postings on ripoffreport.com and the procedures are also found under the 10-23-04 posting under the Harvard Professional Group. Read them and educate yourself with what works to get your money back! This forum and following all of the procedures will almost guarantee or more of your money returned. A group of individuals were successful to gather a team and combined their forces(all thanks to this website and through email). They succeeded in many ways which also includes their money returned and Harvard Professional had to close their doors. They even had Harvard Professional exposed on UPN 9 news Early December of 2004 and have them on camera deceiving prospective clients. This may also be the cause why Robele decided to "claim" Bankruptcy as other companies in the same industry. I encourage you all to contact one another and hit them all at once as a team as these individuals have. FOLLOW the PROCEDURES if you truly want your money back and to bring them to justice! I highly suggest that anyone who has experienced the same, to contact the BBB. This cheating company (PEG) will have 30 days to respond (they will take the full time) and the BBB will send you the letter that this company sent them trying to justify themselves. Once you get their poor response letter, you have only 10 days to send the BBB another letter stating that you are not satisfied with their response and that this company has deceived you and you want your money returned because of their deception and false promises (send it certified, or signature required like a return receipt). You will need to go through this 3 times before the BBB will send you a letter to contact the NJ division of Consumer affairs and leave this complaint unresolved (you do not have to wait for the BBB to suggest for you to contact the NJ Dept. of Consumer Affairs, & NJ Attorney General, so do it ASAP). The BBB needs atleast 3 active unresolved complaints (the complaints have to go through this entire process). This will then force the BBB to change their rating. STAY on top of the BBB to do so!!! In addition to that contact, the media, like NY Times, Star Ledger, NY Post, Fox 5 news, ABC news, etc.. as they have programs like Shame on You. Bad publicity is no good for their type of business and especially on the BBB website when they have an abundance of complaints. In addition to that, try to get pictures of them displayed throughout the media and any other ways to make it more challenging for them to try this again with another type of business. Who knows, they very well may be the same individuals from the other companies that closed their doors. There is no guarantee they will give you back your hard earned money, that they had to lie to steal from you, but this will hopefully disrupt their scam and the authorities will get involved. They prey on individuals who are in desperate need and willing to trust someone to help them work for a living. Don't forget to also submit a form to the FTC https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01 Contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs 1-800-242-5846 visit: www.NJConsumerAffairs.gov e-mail: [email protected] Here is a link to the FBI in which they call what these companies do as FRAUD! Here is there explanation of this type of Fraud and the link to fill out the FORM. This is a long and detailed form. However, FILL IT OUT to the best of your knowledge. I know for a fact, they will look into this information and investigate and include the local Detectives. http://www.ifccfbi.gov/cf1.asp: Advance Fee Scheme An advance fee scheme occurs when the victim pays money to someone in anticipation of receiving something of greater value, such as a loan, contract, investment, or gift, and then receives little or nothing in return. The variety of advance fee schemes is limited only by the imagination of the conartists who offer them. They may involve the sale of products or services, the offering of investments, lottery winnings, "found money," or many other "opportunities." Clever conartists will offer to find financing arrangements for their clients who pay a "finder's fee" in advance. They require their clients to sign contracts in which they agree to pay the fee when they are introduced to the financing source. Victims often learn that they are ineligible for financing only after they have paid the "finder" according to the contract. Such agreements may be legal unless it can be shown that the "finder" never had the intention or the ability to provide financing for the victims. Some Tips to Avoid the Advanced Fee Schemes: If the offer of an "opportunity" appears too good to be true, it probably is. Follow common business practice. For example, legitimate business is rarely conducted in cash on a street corner. Know who you are dealing with. If you have not heard of a person or company that you intend to do business with, learn more about them. Depending on the amount of money that you intend to spend, you may want to visit the business location, check with the Better Business Bureau, or consult with your bank, an attorney, or the police. Make sure you fully understand any business agreement that you enter into. If the terms are complex, have them reviewed by a competent attorney. Be wary of businesses that operate out of post office boxes or mail drops and do not have a street address, or of dealing with persons who do not have a direct telephone line, who are never "in" when you call, but always return your call later. Be wary of business deals that require you to sign nondisclosure or noncircumvention agreements that are designed to prevent you from independently verifying the bona fides of the people with whom you intend to do business. Conartists often use noncircumvention agreements to threaten their victims with civil suit if they report their losses to law enforcement. I hope this helps and I hope you follow the suggestions. NEVER GIVE UP and you shall prevail. DO IT AS A TEAM AND YOU WILL GET BETTER RESULTS.
