Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I setup a gaming account through Steve with 5dimes.com.  This was the alias he used with me and has probably used several other alias' previously.  His real name is Phil Purnell from Medford, Oregon.  He posed as an agent for the site,  I sent him $500 through moneypak to have the account setup with a credit limit.  He even gave me a bonus where I get a free bet for the same amount as the deposit.  I assumed an agent working for this website would be trustworthy but I came to find out that these agents are not employees of the website.  Any person can setup an agent account with these websites if they pay a fee.  They pay a service fee to 5dimes in order to setup an agent account with the site and can then setup player accounts for their customers and act as a independant bookie.  But these sites do not accept responsibility for the agents that they allow to use their site.

He set me up with an account after I sent him the deposit.  After 2 weeks, I won about $2,500 and I contacted him and he said he would pay me out soon.  After 7 days went by, I get a call back from him and he told me that he was having financial problems and his payment processor had just gone out of business so he wouldnt be able to pay me for a while.  Kept telling me to stay patient and I would get paid soon.  He stopped answering phone calls.  Weeks went by, then months.  It has been almost 6 months and I havn't received any money from him.

He has sent me several texts through out that time with fake moneygram receipt numbers that only wasted my time even more.  This guy is sick and seems to get pleasure out of making others suffer even more.

I have come to find out through other forums that he has ripped off many people in the past and I have been in touch with several other people who have gone through the same thing I have.

Also found out that he works for a company called Busy Bee Media Group.

His scam was that if you lost money, he would expect payment from you.  But if you won money you would never be paid.  I fell for it but I hope that this will prevent others for falling for the same trap and eventually putting a stop to Phil Purnell's scams.
