I went to the Bud Hibbs site. I also read alot of bad reports about Philips and Burns they will say they are an attorneys office they are not they are a collection agency. If they call and say they are an attorney I would ask for thier license # to pratice cunsumer law.

You said you are only 20 - but have debtalready? That is not a good sign. You need to learn NOW that research is required for just about anything you do- BEFORE YOU DO IT, not after you have dug a hole that you cannot get out of. Whether it be dealing with debt collectors or doing business in general YOU MUST GET IN THIS HABIT OF RESEARCHING THINGS, or you will always have problems that you cannot deal with. There are a lot of older people who have never learned this simple rule of thumb. Its time you learned it NOW you need to educate yourself on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm also go to www.budhibbs.com - a consumer advocate website that specializes in helping consumers deal with debt collectors. READ Dealing with Collectors 101 (you have to scroll down to it)

....your age does not absolve you of paying what you owe young man. WHY did you agree to it if you can't afford it? Your lack of sleep also doesn't absolve you any. I can't believe that at age 20 you are so far in debt that you had to agree to something like this. Apparently you dont or cant control your spending.

These clowns did the same thing to me. I called them back and left a nasty message . I told them flat out they cannot touch my wages . I also told them I would refuse to tell them were I work at and I would refuse to give my work #. They cannot touch your wages if they ask you to tell them were you work at refuse to give that imformation. After too many harassing phone calls I would of had my # changed and unlisted new and ask the phone company not to give out the one
