Phoenix Re Trans - Phoenix Remanfactured Transmissions - Trans Hard Parts - Phoenix ReTrans are theives and have stole from many people, i can prove it. Phoenix Arizona
I purchased a transmission for my 97 chevy truck back in January 2008. I got it off of Ebay but talked to Alex (an employee there) over the phone before i made the purchase. i did it because it was cheaper than i could find anywhere else and seemed like a good deal. Everything went smoothly until i went to return my core and wait for my refund check.
I have been waiting since March 2008 for a refund check. I call at least a dozen times but probably more like 20-30 asking when i could expect my refund check. I was always told that the owner wasn't in but that there was a check with my name on it sitrting on his desk and he just had to sign it. I have been waiting 8 months for my check to be singed and for it to be sent out.
It's a very poorly run company and like i said in the heading they are theives and here's how. They have $350 that i paid for the core charge and they have my old transmission. The way i see it they owe me $350 or my old transmission back. As of right now they have stole $350 from me and arew going to just get away with it? I hope not. I have all my paperwork, the date i sent in my warranty information, and the date that the transmission core was sent back by R&L Carriers.
Just to keep it clear R&L Carriers did a wonderful job and nothing bad should come back to them because of this. As i've read from other people their transmission have been shipped with and have needed to be rebuilt in order to work correctly or have not recieved the correct transmission. I must have gotten lucky and my transmission was the correct one with a torque convertor. I installed it in the end of January and have not had any problems with it yet, and i don't baby the truck either.
The company is led by a huge crook and scammer Frank Kupperman, and hopefully he will be charged and throw in jail and all the people that were screwed or mislead will get justice. This can only be done if the people who got screwed come together and bring him to justice.
