What a tool google is I should have used when deciding what transmission shop to use. I'm not gonna beat around the bush, a google search of phoenix remanufactured transmissions, phoenix hard parts, phxretrans, phoenix re trans., will give you a good idea of how these guys operate. False advertising and lies. It is criminal what is taking place within this company. How the district attorney of every city they operate out of in Arizona hasn't conductance a full scale investigation into their business practices is unbelievable. How the attorney general of Arizona hasn't got wind of how this company operates is also frightening. Maybe one day they will

Three months and some change ago I was assured by JULIUS EDWARDS that my car would be fixed quickly and properly. I was told your car is fixed, but it doesn't shift properly. What's the problem? I said. There is a bad sensor that controls the shift points. He told me. So I took the car to a mechanic; since JULIUS EDWARDS informed me that they were only a Trans shop, not a repair shop.. The faulty part was tested and checked out to be fine. I called JULIUS EDWARDS and he said, I know a guy that can fix the sensor, take it to him. No I said, why don't I take it to the dealership? .the dealership checked the car thru and thru. As far as they were concerned the sensor and the information supplied to the sensor was working properly, the transmission was causing the problems. All of a sudden JULIUS EDWARDS became a repair shop. Your mechanic is wrong and so is the dealership, take it to my guy. There is nothing I can do for you, the sensor is bad. If I remember correctly JULIUS EDWARDS told me that, talking to you is like talking to his 2 year old daughter. I just don't listen he told me. At that point I googled all of the names above and realized based on what I read that I had truly been ripped off.

So here we are almost 90 days into a credit card dispute and they won't make it right..As if I haven't lost enough money dealing with these people. Not the cost of the transmission, because that money is in limbo. I'm talking about the cost of not having a car to drive at a job that is based around driving. The car is sitting in my back yard with the same mileage it had since I took it to the dealership 3 months ago after they refused to look at it until the sensor was replaced. It sits, so when we go to court the judge can drive the car and se how DYNO TESTED the Trans really was. Even if I gave them back the transmission and we went our separate ways, I'm still out a ton of money using other means of transportation for three and a half months.

With that said, ask yourself this, do you want to have your transmission repaired? Or do you just gonna get ripped off. Use these guys to do the repair and you might as well give the car away, it will be cheaper and less of a headachestay tuned for more info.

After speaking with Frank, the President of the corporation, we finally came to an agreement to resolve our differences. Frank told me that Julius Edwards is no longer with the company and that the way he dealt with me was both improper and cast a light on his company that is untrue. I feel that Julius Edwards was the main cause for the problems and I truly belive that Phoenix Remanufactured Transmission and its subsidiaries are honest and fair. Frank even offered me to come down to their factory to see transmissions being dyno tested. This company does not falsely advertise their products, their acts are NOT CRIMINAL, contrary to what I originally posted. This is a large company and unfortunately it seems that they picked the wrong manager who in turn made them look bad and provided the poor customer service. Phoenix Re Trans and I have resolved our differences and I was given my MONEY BACK IN FULL, and they even let me keep their transmission. I wish that it had not had to come to this, but again, sometimes a bad employee can do alot more damage than you think. I hope this clears the air and explains my frustrations and the previous comments that I made about this company. Sincerely,

Frank
